Yes, I totally this. At every OSRS GP chance, I attempted to slide in more"untradeable/completionist content", but the answers just could not reflect it completely. I would have enjoyed a general remarks box in the end because there were some things I wanted to react to in more detail but had no place to do so. While completionist content wouldn't make it on my listing. I'm pretty bummed out that the completionist community couldn't express their views. I was very happy to find the HD OSRS screenshots. They were ranked by me as an optional toggle, because as my shirt. It would make me even more excited to log in and receive immersed.
I work in market research and Qualtrics is a industry pillar. I know but my experience let's me think it's alright if you don't feel comfortable with Qualtrics. Let's say I replied this survey 100 who'd you envision gets that data? After GDPR I've felt so pressured with every single website ever to monitor and track me it's disgusting, and even more disgusting that it was happening before without my knowledge. Taking a look at the survey link along with the fundamental disclosures in the bottom of the webpage it doesn't seem the Jagex is using a third-party firm so in that case the only people who would have immediate access to your information would be the survey programmers who can pull exports from the database to disperse internally. EU also includes some pretty powerful data privacy legislation that (at least my US based company which often interacts with Qualtrics connections ) are followed fairly strictly by the survey programmers and information hosting websites.
After running during the survey Jagex definitely appears to be running solo on this one. No third party company would let participants directly enter inside their own contact info (because it would mean they would lose your company for their client [not a nefarious thing]) and also the only part I found rather strange was the telephone number request at the conclusion. I would have substituted that using a check box for recontacting and pipe-in the email that you could optionally have put in sooner for affirmation. I think you're fine answering this survey if you have privacy concerns because basically all information is anonymous and it is using an industry-standard platform of Qualtrics. Jagex likely doesn't have market research ISO certificates but this is a fast annual survey in order that they would not have to have any.
I hope this feedback encourages the team to earn surveys more concentrated to the viewers who actively take part in the content they are polling, or use them as an advisory tool instead of a ruling. It'd be interesting if they reveal a few of the results of this survey. I replied the opposite, that polling is in the crux of OSRS and they should stick with it. For clarity, I also answered that polling is at the core of OSRS. The poll system empowers the whole playerbase to start freeform discussion on the proposed changes/additions made to Runescape itself and it's absolutely a great way to gather feedback and public opinion on something. That said, I really don't think the current format satisfies the best interests of Runescape.
I really don't believe the old school runescape gold participant base is great at determining which material, based on merit, is good for integrity and the overall health of Runescape long-term. According to polling, the neighborhood generally enjoyed 6hr NMZ but it was significant to remove. Players do not vote for any modifications that make things tougher for them but over time which becomes a drawback as material becomes easier and achievements are diluted, these are very slight but easily accumulate.
