This project shows you how to make a digital clock on an Arduino with the 4-digit 7-segment display TM1637. In the first example we will take a look at the basic functions of the tm1637Display library. The second example shows how to display the time on a four-digit display.
The TM1637 4-digit 7-segment display features an Arduino circuit diagram with a DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor. It shows you how to connect the sensor to the Arduino in combination with the TM16-37 display and sensor. The Arduino library is based on the display and contains a 4-6 digit LED display module with 7 segments.
Connect the TM1637 datasheet chip display over the GPIO pins of your Arduino to the CLK and DIO pins of your Arduino, including initializing the tm1637.tinydisplay and calling the user-friendly Show Numbers, Show Strings, Show Levels and Show Animation functions.
The Arduino 2-pin serial port and the TM1637 chip library are optimized for size and speed. The display module is powered by a 5 volt power supply and connected via a two-wire serial interface (similar to, but not compatible with I2C). The module works on the basis of the TM1637-IC, which is presented under the name TM16 37.3 Display.
